Job summary

Sollers Consulting is seeking a skilled IT consultant to join our client-focused teams in Poland. You will coordinate agile projects for financial institutions, lead workshops, and drive effective communication across technical and business stakeholders.

The role involves mentoring teammates, collaborating with developers and architects, and potentially growing into an Agile Coach. Strong English and banking/insurance domain knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional IT project experience in financial sector environments (insurance or bancassurance).
• Strong understanding of insurance or banking processes and business models.
• Experience in IT solution design and running implementations.
• Creative, proactive problem-solver with analytical and synthesis skills.
• Experience leading teams and delivering outcomes.
• Ability to work in Poland/EU on a full-time basis.
• Bilingual or fluent English (C1+).

Responsibilities

• Be part of a consulting or implementation team on IT projects for financial institutions.

About the role. You will:

• Be a part of consulting or implementation team during IT projects for financial institutions, primarily insurance companies
• Coordinate small, Agile implementation projects or act as an independent leader of a project area
• Lead complex business analysis, define functional requirements, design solutions and mentor less experienced team members
• Act as a team leader, facilitating workshops and driving communication as needed by the project
• Work closely with software developers and IT architects on a daily basis
• Act as a Scrum Master with an option to develop as an Agile Coach
• Support B2B sales activities by preparing RFPs and presentations
• Act as Relationship Manager/Account Owner for specific clients

About the requirements. You need:

• At least 3 years of professional experience in IT projects for the financial sector, preferably insurance or bancassurance in an international environment
• Understanding how insurance companies or banks work, being familiar with their key processes and business models
• Experience in the functional design of IT solutions and running IT implementations
• To be creative, resourceful, and proactive in finding solutions to complex problems
• Ability to ensure quality of the deliverables of your team, by applying analytical thinking and synthesis skills
• Experience in team management and taking responsibility for team results
• Ability to work in Poland and the European Union on a full-time basis
• At least a bachelor's degree
• Great command of English language, at least C1 level

About the wishes. Nice to haves:

• Experience working in implementation-related or strategic consulting, especially in the fields of insurance or bancassurance
• Ability build lasting and positive relationships with the client and members of managed team
• Good knowledge of German or French
• While having the main office in Warsaw, you want to work with our Clients abroad, traveling up to 50% of your work time
• Experience with successful sales or upselling on projects
