Job summary

Intrepid Acquisition Holdings, LLC is seeking a Construction Manager to lead on-site execution of large-scale government construction projects. You will read and interpret documents, participate in design reviews, and ensure conformance with specifications while coordinating engineers, designers and surveyors on safety and quality control.

The role requires 5 years of field experience, a U.S. driver’s license, and eligibility for a DoD Secret clearance.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in any engineering construction technology or construction management discipline.
Five (5) years of construction field experience.
Must possess a valid U.S. Driver’s License.
Possess a valid U.S. Passport (preferred).
Able to obtain and maintain a valid Residency Visa for Jordan.
Work in extreme environmental conditions including dust and high temperatures.
Endure long hours, exposure to weather and hazardous conditions.

Responsibilities

Ensure construction is performed to the highest quality standards and in accordance with construction specifications.
Read, interpret, and decipher all construction documents (schedules, specifications, blueprints, schematics, diagrams, etc.)
Participate in design reviews and ensure that all construction is performed in accordance with the construction documents.
Review shop drawings and product submittals and recommendations in a timely and accurate manner.
Monitor, inspect, document and advise on all projects to include troop labor construction, as required.
Attend project-specific meetings, prepare, and submit reports of project status and progress; submit a master schedule and advise contractors on issues.
Responsible for proper utilization and safeguarding of all government and contractor property.
Ensure all work areas are kept clean, orderly and safe.
Conduct regular site inspections to ensure construction work meets contract requirements and safety standards.
Observe and verify concrete work, including placement and review of concrete test results.
Monitor HVAC installation, start-up, and testing activities.
Review HVAC testing and balancing (TAB) reports to confirm systems operate as designed.
