Job summary

10x Team is seeking an experienced compliance professional for a freelance role, 8–20 hours per week, remote across the EU and UK. You will review AI-generated outputs on regulatory compliance, risk management, policy development, and audit processes, applying your practical experience to improve accuracy and usefulness.

Work independently, provide clear feedback, and help shape how AI systems understand and apply compliance at scale.

Qualifications

• Senior compliance professional or regulatory consultant with hands-on experience in dynamic environments.
• Experience in AI-related regulatory or compliance settings is preferred.
• Based in the EU or UK and eligible to work remotely or fully remote work acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Review and refine AI-generated outputs on regulatory topics such as compliance, risk management, policy development and audit processes.
• Evaluate AI responses for regulatory accuracy, commercial realism, and real-world applicability.
• Draft realistic compliance scenarios and case studies based on hands-on experience.
• Create scenario variations from diverse stakeholder perspectives (e.g. compliance officer, risk manager, executive, or auditor).
• Identify gaps, flaws, or oversimplifications in AI-generated compliance content.

About the Role

10x.team connects expert freelancers with leading AI labs building next-generation models. We are seeking experienced compliance professionals based in the EU or UK to enhance the accuracy, detail, and practical value of AI-powered compliance solutions.

What You Will Do

• Review and refine AI-generated outputs on topics such as regulatory compliance, risk management, policy development, and audit processes

• Evaluate AI responses for regulatory accuracy, commercial realism, and real-world applicability

• Draft realistic compliance scenarios and case studies based on your hands-on experience

• Create scenario variations from diverse stakeholder perspectives (e.g. compliance officer, risk manager, executive, or auditor)

• Identify gaps, flaws, or oversimplifications in AI-generated compliance content

You will assess and improve AI-generated compliance content, ensuring it embodies genuine regulatory expertise, logical accuracy, and best practices. Rather than performing traditional compliance work, you’ll leverage your practical experience to help AI systems understand and reason about compliance functions at scale.

Who You Are

• A senior compliance specialist, regulatory consultant, risk manager, or similar professional

• Based in and eligible to work in the EU or UK

• Several years of hands-on compliance, regulatory, or risk management experience in complex or fast-paced settings

• Excellent at assessing compliance logic and practical implementation

• Comfortable providing clear, structured feedback and working independently

• Available for 8–20 hours per week, with near-term availability

AI Lab work is often highly confidential as this exposes information of what an AI Lab is working on, and project requests are unpredictable. When an AI Lab request comes in, we often need to respond within 24 hours with suitable talent.

Matching depends on the specific needs of each AI Lab project and your niche expertise. Once your profile is reviewed and approved, you may be matched to relevant AI Lab projects when suitable opportunities arise.

This can happen within hours, but it may also take months, depending on the researchers at the AI labs and their project needs.
