Job summary

10x.team is seeking a senior compliance specialist to work remotely on a freelance basis, 8–20 hours per week. Based in the EU/UK, you will assess AI-generated compliance content, refine outputs, and contribute real-world regulatory expertise.

This role supports AI labs and ambitious companies with complex regulatory needs across EU/UK contexts. You will draft scenarios, review risk and policy alignment, and provide structured feedback to help AI systems reason about compliance at scale.

• Several years of hands-on compliance, regulatory, or risk management experience in complex or fast-paced settings.
• Excellent at assessing compliance logic and practical implementation.
• Available for 8–20 hours per week, with near-term availability.

Responsibilities

• Review and refine AI-generated outputs on topics such as regulatory compliance, risk management, policy development, and audit processes
• Evaluate AI responses for regulatory accuracy, commercial realism, and real-world applicability
• Draft realistic compliance scenarios and case studies based on your hands-on experience
• Create scenario variations from diverse stakeholder perspectives (e.g. compliance officer, risk manager, executive, or auditor)
• Identify gaps, flaws, or oversimplifications in AI-generated compliance content
• In simple terms: You will assess and improve AI-generated compliance content, ensuring it embodies genuine regulatory expertise, logical accuracy, and best practices.

Who You Are

A senior compliance specialist, regulatory consultant, risk manager, or similar professional

Based in and eligible to work in the EU or UK

Several years of hands‑on compliance, regulatory, or risk management experience in complex or fast‑paced settings

Excellent at assessing compliance logic and practical implementation

Comfortable providing clear, structured feedback and working independently

Available for 8–20 hours per week, with near‑term availability

2. AI Lab roles
For AI Lab roles, we scout, review, and approve profiles for access to future project opportunities.

The missions listed for AI Lab roles are not traditional job openings. AI Lab work is often highly confidential as this exposes information of what an AI Lab is working on, and project requests are unpredictable. When an AI Lab request comes in, we often need to respond within 24 hours with suitable talent.

Matching depends on the specific needs of each AI Lab project and your niche expertise. Once your profile is reviewed and approved, you may be matched to relevant AI Lab projects when suitable opportunities arise.

This can happen within hours, but it may also take months, depending on the researchers at the AI labs and their project needs.
