Job summary

Deloitte Central Europe is seeking a motivated Collections Associate to join our finance team. You will manage accounts receivable, pursue timely payments, and maintain strong customer relationships.

The role requires a practical understanding of AR processes, experience with SAP or Oracle, and excellent English (C1) and Danish (B2) language skills. We offer a hybrid work model, ongoing training, and a supportive onboarding program.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of experience in Finance Customer Service, Collections, or Accounts Receivable roles.
• Solid understanding of the end-to-end Accounts Receivable (AR) process, including invoicing, cash application, and payment reconciliation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact clearly and effectively with both internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Hands-on experience with accounting systems such as SAP or Oracle, along with strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong analytical mindset with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Advanced proficiency in English (C1) and Danish (B2) required to effectively support a global customer base

Responsibilities

• Manage overdue accounts and secure timely payment.
• Define payment plans with customers and monitor adherence.
• Maintain detailed records of collection activities and commitments.
• Resolve billing disputes to facilitate payment.
• Collaborate with sales, customer service, and other teams to improve collections.
• Prepare regular reports on collection activities and risks to management.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
