Job summary

PDS Tech Commercial in Warsaw, IN is seeking experienced CNC Machinists and Machine Operators to join a precision manufacturing team. You will set up and operate CNC lathes, mills and machining centers, inspect parts with precision measuring equipment, and maintain accurate production documentation.

This temp-to-hire role offers weekend schedules, a $28.00 per hour pay rate, and a $1,000 new hire retention bonus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED plus 2 years CNC machining experience on CNC lathes and/or mills.
• Four semesters of vocational or high school machine shop training plus 1 year of CNC experience.
• Hands‑on CNC machine setup experience.
• Ability to read and follow blueprints and machining specifications.
• Working knowledge of precision measuring equipment including micrometers, calipers, comparators, indicators.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot production issues.
• Ability to work effectively in a team/cellular manufacturing environment.
• Ability to repeatedly lift approximately 60 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC lathes, mills, and machining centers.
• Keep production moving while maintaining quality and quantity standards.
• Inspect parts throughout the production process.
• Use precision measuring equipment to verify dimensions and tolerances.
• Make machine adjustments as needed to maintain quality.
• Record production counts and maintain accurate production documentation.
• Participate in process improvement activities.
• Support other manufacturing operations as needed, including non-destructive testing, cell support, mass finishing, injection molding, polishing.

Pay: $ 28.00/hour

Job Type: Temp-to-Hire

Schedule: Weekender | Friday-Sunday, 10:00PM–6:00AM OR 3:00PM - 11:00PM OR 2:00PM - 10:00PM

$1,000 NEW HIRE RETENTION BONUS

• $500 after 30 days

• $250 after 60 days

What You'll Do

What We're Looking For
