Job summary

Guardian Glass is seeking a Cloud Engineer / Cloud Native Engineer to join the GRD Infrastructure Operations Team. You will manage AWS services, Kubernetes platforms, and cloud-native tooling to enable scalable, secure, and cost-efficient cloud solutions across the organization.

You will work with architecture, engineering, and application teams to automate deployments, govern cloud resources, and drive adoption of platforms built with Terraform, Rancher, ArgoCD, and GitLab.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services such as EKS, IAM, Lambda, and other core cloud technologies.
• Proven experience deploying and managing Kubernetes workloads in production environments.
• Experience with Terraform, Rancher, ArgoCD, and CI/CD practices.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across technical teams and share knowledge effectively.

Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize AWS cloud services and Kubernetes platforms (EKS/RKE2).
• Maintain and enhance Cloud Native tools including Rancher, ArgoCD, Terraform, and GitLab.
• Design, automate, and support infrastructure deployments using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
• Partner with Architecture and Engineering teams to implement scalable and secure cloud-native solutions.
• Promote cloud governance and best practices related to security, IAM, performance, availability, and cost optimization.
