Job summary

Guardian Industries, a Koch company, seeks a Cloud Engineer to govern cloud services and advance cloud-native platforms in a Windows/Linux environment. You will focus on AWS, Kubernetes, IaC, and automation to empower development teams with scalable, secure cloud solutions.

You will collaborate with architecture and engineering to implement cost-efficient and secure cloud-native patterns, while promoting governance and best practices across teams worldwide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services (EKS, IAM, Lambda, etc.).
• Proven experience deploying Kubernetes workloads in production.
• Strong Linux administration skills.
• Experience with Terraform, Rancher, ArgoCD, and CI/CD practices.
• Strong communication and collaboration across teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize AWS cloud services and Kubernetes platforms (EKS/RKE2).
• Maintain and enhance Cloud Native tools including Rancher, ArgoCD, Terraform, and GitLab.
• Design, automate, and support infrastructure deployments using Terraform.
