Job summary

Magenta Team is seeking a Cloud Operation Engineer to maintain and optimize cloud infrastructure on AWS and GCP from our Warsaw office. You will administer OpenSearch environments, automate deployments with IaC, and ensure security, scalability, and performance while collaborating with engineering and business teams.

The role requires hands-on AWS/GCP experience, OpenSearch knowledge, and strong GitOps/CI/CD skills.

Qualifications

Proven hands-on experience with AWS services and enterprise governance patterns.
Experience with GitLab, CI/CD pipelines and GitOps workflows.
Familiarity with automation tools such as SSM, Ansible, Terraform, Terragrunt.
Working knowledge of Kubernetes, ideally EKS/GKE.
OpenSearch administration experience.
Understanding of IAM, SSO, RBAC concepts.
Solid knowledge of AWS networking (VPC, subnets, routing, security groups).
Strong communication with stakeholders and a product mindset.

Responsibilities

Maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS and GCP.
Administer and optimize OpenSearch Service environments.
Automate infrastructure and deployment via Infrastructure as Code.
Ensure platform security, scalability, availability and performance.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize cloud services and costs.
Collaborate with engineering and business teams to deliver resilient cloud solutions.
Support cloud transformation and modernization initiatives.
