Job summary

Remitly Poland in Kraków is seeking a Cloud Engineer to join the Builder Platform and help shape our AWS cloud foundation. You’ll design and operate the cloud networking stack, write Terraform, and partner with SRE, Security, and Platform teams.

You’ll work across multi-account, multi-region environments, grow into Go services, and own infrastructure end-to-end with a bias for reliability, security, and observed performance.

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of cloud networking: VPC design, routing, DNS, and load balancing.
• Hands-on experience building infrastructure as code with Terraform.
• 3+ years in cloud engineering, DevOps, or infra with AWS depth.
• Experience operating production infrastructure with versioning, deployment, and CI/CD.
• Familiarity with edge services (CloudFront, WAF, Shield) or partner connectivity is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and evolve Remitly’s cloud networking in Terraform across multi-account, multi-region environments.
• Own and operate partner/bank connectivity networks (VPNs, Direct Connect, BGP).
• Operate edge infra (CloudFront, WAF, Shield) and CDN failover strategies.
• Troubleshoot network issues across distributed clouds and analyze traffic flow.
• Write clean Terraform and evolve infrastructure with Go services.
• Deliver end-to-end infra work with clear estimates and high quality changes.
• Collaborate with SRE, Security, and Platform teams to ensure observability and compliance.
