Job summary

Remitly’s Kraków-based Cloud Team is building the foundation for scalable cloud infrastructure. You will design and operate the cloud networking stack, leveraging Terraform across many AWS accounts and regions, while enabling AI agents as first-class users of our platform.

You will work on VPNs, Direct Connect, BGP, and edge services, with opportunities to grow into Go services and broader platform ownership. A strong DevOps mindset and coding fundamentals are essential.

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of cloud networking including VPC design, routing, DNS, and load balancing.
• Ability to read and write code in Python or Go.
• Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform) and AWS depth.
• Experience operating production infrastructure with versioning, deployment, and CI/CD best practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and evolve cloud networking in Terraform across multi-account, multi-region AWS environments.
• Own and operate partner and bank connectivity networks (VPNs, Direct Connect, BGP).
• Operate edge infrastructure (CloudFront, WAF, Shield) and ensure reliability and security.
• Troubleshoot complex network issues and optimize traffic flow.
• Write modular Terraform, improve infrastructure structure, testing, deployment, and monitoring.
