Job summary

Papaya Global is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to own and optimize our cloud infrastructure across development, testing, and production on AWS. You will enhance CI/CD pipelines, implement secure, scalable patterns, and partner with global R&D teams to drive automation and reliability.

You will apply Kubernetes-based microservices, Terraform/Terragrunt, and GitOps practices while focusing on security, performance, and observability to support Papaya Global's multi-region growth.

Qualifications

3+ years of experience as a DevOps engineer.
3+ years of experience with AWS.
Experience with Kubernetes and microservices.
Proven GitHub Actions CI/CD experience.
Terraform and Terragrunt for IaC.
Experience with GitOps and automation tools.
Strong AWS networking knowledge (VPCs, subnets, SGs).

Responsibilities

Design and implement Papaya Global's cloud infrastructure across development, testing, and production environments on AWS
Ensure production environment stability, availability, and performance
Review automation strategy with stakeholders to support multi-year growth
Collaborate with Information Security to improve security and data isolation
Work with R&D teams in Poland, India, and Israel
Leverage AI-powered tools to improve automation and observability
