Job summary

VGW is seeking a Software Engineer to join our Poland-based Engineering team. You’ll help deliver high-quality solutions by applying solid engineering practices, collaborating with Product Managers and Principal Engineers to drive product development and maximize value.

You’ll work with a stack including Kotlin on the JVM, TypeScript/React for the client, PostgreSQL and DynamoDB, deploying on AWS with ECS/EKS.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Java or Kotlin for backend development.
• Experience with cloud technologies, ideally AWS and Kubernetes for infrastructure automation.
• Knowledge of SQL and noSQL databases (DynamoDB).
• Understanding of Apache Kafka.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Product Features: From infrastructure to UI.
• Contribute to Design Sessions: Attend and participate in design and architectural discussions with the engineering team.
• Collaborate and Work Independently: Work autonomously and with the team.
