Job summary

VGW is seeking a Software Engineer to join our Engineering team in Poland. You will build and extend scalable backend systems for player-facing meta features including quests, periodic bonuses, jackpots, and live data streaming systems.

You will work with Kotlin on the JVM, containerised AWS services, and collaborate with the team to design, code, test, and run production systems that power our online social games.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Java or Kotlin for backend development.
• Experience with cloud technologies, ideally AWS and Kubernetes for infrastructure automation.
• Knowledge of SQL and noSQL databases (DynamoDB).
• Understanding of Apache Kafka.
