Job summary

VGW EU is seeking a Software Engineer to join our Poland-based engineering team. You will build and extend scalable backend systems for player-facing features such as quests, bonuses, jackpots, and live data streaming.

You’ll work with Java or Kotlin, AWS, Kubernetes, PostgreSQL/DynamoDB, and Kafka, collaborate in design sessions, own your projects, and pursue continuous learning within our growth-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Java or Kotlin for backend development.
• Experience with cloud technologies, ideally AWS and Kubernetes for infrastructure automation.
• Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases (DynamoDB).
• Understanding of Apache Kafka

Responsibilities

• Deliver product features from infrastructure to UI.
• Contribute to design and architectural discussions with the engineering team.
• Collaborate and work independently to drive projects forward.
