Job summary

VGW Malta Limited is seeking a Software Engineer to build and extend scalable backend systems for player-facing meta features such as quests, bonuses, jackpots, and live data streaming. The role is based in Poland within the engineering team.

You will contribute to design discussions and work autonomously on delivering features end-to-end, with a strong emphasis on learning and career development.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Java or Kotlin for backend development.
• Experience with cloud technologies, ideally AWS and Kubernetes for infrastructure automation.
• Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases (DynamoDB).
• Understanding of Apache Kafka.

Responsibilities

• Deliver product features from infrastructure to UI.
• Contribute to design sessions with the engineering team.
• Collaborate and work independently within the team.
• Focus on learning and development to fill knowledge gaps.
