Job summary

Commerzbank AG – Poland in Łódź is seeking a Java Developer to join the Advisory Frontends team, developing cloud-based services and interfaces for Unternehmer360 and cobaQ. You will work on microservices in a cloud environment, collaborating with analysts and operations to deliver robust frontend–backend integrations.

You will join an international agile team, contribute to code quality, and advance your skills with new technologies in a hybrid work setting at Ogrodowa 8, Łódź.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Java and frameworks (Spring).
• Basic knowledge of message queues, especially Kafka.
• Experience with unit testing for reliable code.
• Strong object-oriented design for scalable solutions.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and teamwork.
• Confident design of REST APIs per coding standards.
• Ability to design interfaces for frontend requirements.
• Hands-on CI/CD automation experience.
• English level at least B2.

Responsibilities

• Develop reusable cloud services based on complex business requirements.
• Design and implement interfaces connecting frontend to backend.
• Integrate existing systems within the Commerzbank IT landscape.
• Support incident resolution and bug fixes with testing teams.
• Contribute to code quality, transparency, and collaboration.
• Participate actively in Scrum ceremonies and Agile rituals.
