Daylight PMS is a distributed system that serves the hospitality industry. It is a solution that allows hotel employees or hotel managers to handle various activities such as managing reservations, payments and hotel services within the hotel or between hotels. The system consists of many domain-oriented microservices developed under a few cross‑functional teams.

• Administering and maintaining Elasticsearch clusters in production environments
• Designing concepts, building, implementing and developing Elasticsearch components in cooperation with developers and architects
• Analyzing platform performance and creating recommendations for infrastructure improvements related to Elasticsearch environments
• Advising developers and architects in the field of application and infrastructure development with a focus on Elasticsearch best practices
• Implementing and maintaining backup & restore procedures, disaster recovery and business continuity strategies for Elasticsearch clusters
• Ensuring security, availability and reliability of Elasticsearch environments
• Creating and maintaining technical and non‑technical documentation related to Elasticsearch and supporting tooling
• Maintaining infrastructure as code and supporting operational excellence initiatives
• Collaborating closely with development teams to provide operational support and optimize system performance
• Participating in incident management and troubleshooting processes

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of commercial experience as DevOps / SRE / SysAdmin / Backend Developer
• Minimum 1 year of commercial experience in deployment, development and maintenance of Elasticsearch platforms in production environments
• Strong practical knowledge of Elasticsearch administration, troubleshooting and performance optimization
• Experience with Linux systems administration and troubleshooting
• Experience with infrastructure automation and Infrastructure as Code concepts
• Understanding of distributed systems concepts and basic networking principles
• Experience working with Docker and CI/CD pipelines (GitLab is a plus)

Nice to have

• Practical knowledge of AWS services
• Knowledge of Terraform and Python
• Elasticsearch certifications
