Job summary

Shiji Group is seeking an experienced DevOps/Elasticsearch Engineer in Katowice to join the Daylight PMS team. You will administer Elasticsearch clusters in production, optimize performance and support infrastructure as code with Terraform, Ansible and GitLab CI/CD.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security, reliability and scalable deployment of distributed microservices in AWS, using Docker and Kubernetes concepts where applicable.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years as DevOps/SRE/SysAdmin/Backend Developer.
• Minimum 1 year deploying and maintaining Elasticsearch in production.
• Strong practical knowledge of Elasticsearch administration and performance tuning.
• Experience with Linux systems administration and troubleshooting.
• Experience with IaC and distributed systems concepts.
• Familiarity with Docker and CI/CD pipelines (GitLab is a plus).

• Administering and maintaining Elasticsearch clusters in production environments

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of commercial experience as DevOps / SRE / SysAdmin / Backend Developer
  
• Minimum 1 year of commercial experience in deployment, development and maintenance of Elasticsearch platforms in production environments
  
• Strong practical knowledge of Elasticsearch administration, troubleshooting and performance optimization
  
• Experience with Linux systems administration and troubleshooting
  
• Experience with infrastructure automation and Infrastructure as Code concepts
  
• Understanding of distributed systems concepts and basic networking principles
  
• Experience working with Docker and CI/CD pipelines (GitLab is a plus)
