Job summary

cloudatus is seeking an IT Security Administrator / Security Engineer to own security topics across managed customer environments in a 100% remote role. You will handle day-to-day security operations, identify risks, coordinate remediation and ensure controls across identity, endpoints, cloud and network are maintained.

You will work with Microsoft 365 and Defender suites, Fortinet, Zscaler, Azure, Cisco and Check Point while leading Zero Trust and least privilege initiatives.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in IT security operations or security administration.
• Strong understanding of security across identity, endpoints, networks and cloud.
• Experience with vulnerability management and remediation processes.
• Practical knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID, MFA, CA and identity security.
• Experience with Microsoft security technologies such as Defender products.
• Understanding of security monitoring, log analysis and incident investigation.
• Knowledge of security hardening and baselines.
• Understanding of Zero Trust and least privilege principles.
• Ability to translate findings into actionable remediation.
• Good enterprise networking knowledge; English at least B2.

Responsibilities

• Take technical ownership of security topics across managed customer environments.
• Identify risks, vulnerabilities and configuration weaknesses; drive remediation.
• Manage security configurations and policies across network, cloud, identity and endpoints.
• Coordinate vulnerability management activities and remediation tracking.
• Investigate security alerts and coordinate technical response and remediation.
• Maintain security baselines and hardening standards.
• Review security controls in Microsoft Entra ID and related policies.
• Work with Defender technologies and other security tools.
• Review network security controls including firewalls and VPNs.
• Collaborate with customers and third-party security providers as needed.
