Job summary

ALGOTEQUE, an IT consultancy, seeks an Information Security Engineer to strengthen security across Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, and hybrid environments. The role focuses on implementing controls, monitoring risks, and collaborating with IT and security teams to maintain a secure enterprise environment.

The ideal candidate has hands-on security experience, practical Azure/M365 knowledge, scripting skills, and strong problem-solving abilities, with fluent English.

Qualifications

• Experience in Information Security, Cloud Security, or Security Engineering.
• Practical knowledge of Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 security.
• Experience with Microsoft security tools such as Defender for Cloud, Microsoft Sentinel, Entra ID, Purview, Defender, or Intune.
• Understanding of IAM, Zero Trust, and hybrid cloud security.
• Knowledge of vulnerability management and incident response.
• Scripting skills in PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
• Fluent English.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain security controls across Azure, Microsoft 365, and hybrid environments.
• Support identity, access, endpoint, and cloud security.
• Configure and maintain Microsoft security tools.
• Monitor security alerts and support incident investigation and remediation.
• Support vulnerability assessments and track remediation activities.
• Identify security risks and help implement appropriate solutions.
• Collaborate with IT teams to integrate security into systems and applications.
• Maintain security documentation, procedures, and standards.
• Support continuous improvement of security processes and controls.
