Job summary

trimetis is seeking a skilled Cloud Engineer to join our international team and support cloud deployment and maintenance tasks. You will deploy and administer cloud environments, focusing on Azure, Terraform, and Kubernetes to ensure reliable, scalable infrastructure.

You will work remotely from Poland, collaborate across time zones with DevOps practices, and implement security best practices manually or via IaC, using Jenkins for CI/CD and Bash scripting on Red Hat Enterprise Linux.

Qualifications

• Good knowledge of Kubernetes and containerization technologies.
• Strong knowledge and experience with Jenkins and CI/CD.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
• Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (Bash/Shell scripting).
• Proficiency in deploying and administering environments in Azure.
• Familiarity with Ansible.
• Strong DevOps knowledge, excluding Azure DevOps.
• Understanding of security best practices and the ability to apply them manually or via IaC.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and administer cloud environments with a focus on Azure, Terraform and Kubernetes.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure reliable and scalable cloud infrastructure.
• Implement security best practices and automate via IaC using Terraform and Ansible.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tooling (e.g., Jenkins) to improve deployment efficiency.
• Maintain and monitor cloud deployments, troubleshoot issues, and optimize performance.

We are seeking a talented Cloud Engineer to join our client's team and provide support with cloud deployment and maintenance tasks. As part of our international team, you will contribute to the seamless operation of our cloud infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and reliability for our clients.

Our client specializes in innovative software solutions for safety-critical control and communication technology in public safety, transport, air traffic, maritime, and defense sectors with a focus on incident and crisis management in global settings.

As a Cloud Engineer, you will be responsible for deploying and administering cloud environments, leveraging Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles using Terraform. You will work closely with our team to ensure the successful deployment and maintenance of cloud-based solutions, with a focus on Azure environments. Additionally, you will utilize your expertise in Kubernetes and DevOps practices to optimize our cloud infrastructure and enhance security measures.
