Job summary

Link Group seeks an experienced Cloud & DevOps Engineer to migrate and host MES on modern Azure cloud infrastructure. You will lead infrastructure deployment, container orchestration, and continuous delivery pipelines for a core enterprise Java app from a major vendor.

Your impact will be platform automation, reliability, and observability, not writing business code. The role requires building scalable pipelines, implementing observability, and collaborating with global teams on migrations,

Qualifications

• Min. 4–5+ years hands-on experience in software engineering, Cloud Infrastructure and DevOps.
• Advanced hands-on expertise with Microsoft Azure and AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service).
• Terraform (or Pulumi) for IaC, plus Chef or Ansible for configuration management.
• GitOps/CI-CD experience with Jenkins and ArgoCD in modern pipelines.
• Linux-based environments with scripting in Bash, Python, or Go.

• Professional Background: Min. 4–5+ years of hands-on experience in software engineering, Cloud Infrastructure, and DevOps methodologies.


• Primary Cloud Focus: Advanced hands-on expertise with Microsoft Azure , with deep familiarity in cloud-native services, networking, and AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service) .


• IaC & Automation: Proven proficiency in Terraform (or Pulumi) for Infrastructure-as-Code, along with Configuration Management tools (Chef or Ansible).


• Continuous Delivery: Demonstrated experience with GitOps and modern CI/CD tooling, particularly Jenkins and ArgoCD .


• OS & Scripting: Strong expertise in Linux-based environments and scripting languages ( Bash, Python, or Go ).


• Observability: Practical experience setting up metrics, logging, and dashboards via Prometheus & Grafana .


• Experience in regulated industries (Pharmaceutical, MedTech, or Biotech) or working with enterprise manufacturing execution systems (MES).


• Exposure to distributed messaging systems (RabbitMQ) or specialized enterprise print services (CUPS).


• Cloud Infrastructure & IaC: Provision, manage, and scale enterprise Azure cloud environments using Terraform or Pulumi, ensuring full alignment with strict security and compliance baselines.


• Kubernetes Orchestration: Deploy and manage application workloads on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) utilizing Helm charts for seamless configuration management and release rollouts.


• CI/CD Automation: Design, optimize, and maintain automated deployment pipelines using tools such as Jenkins and ArgoCD to support continuous delivery across global sites.


• Observability & Monitoring: Implement robust monitoring, alerting, and telemetry dashboards using Prometheus and Grafana to ensure high availability and operational visibility.


• System Integration & Tooling: Build and maintain infrastructure automation services (leveraging languages like Go, Python, or Bash), messaging workflows (RabbitMQ), and configuration management tools (Chef / Ansible).


• Migration & Escalation Support: Collaborate with cross-functional global teams during system migrations, upgrades, and real-time infrastructure troubleshooting.
