Job summary

Milestone One is seeking a Talent Researcher / Sourcing Specialist to map the clinical trials talent market across key countries and organizations, identifying CROs, SMOs and pharma/biotech employers. You will build pipelines of both active and passive candidates and uncover equivalent roles where titles differ.

You will conduct proactive searches using LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean strategies and ATS databases, delivering actionable insights to recruiters and hiring managers to shape recruitment

Qualifications

• Experience in talent research, sourcing, recruitment, talent intelligence or similar analytical roles.
• Experience with specialized or international talent markets; clinical trials/CRO/biotech exposure is desirable.
• Strong research and analytical skills; enjoy market investigation beyond CV collection.
• Excellent knowledge of LinkedIn Recruiter and advanced search techniques (Boolean, X-ray).
• Attention to detail and ability to organize large information into clear insights.
• Strong written and verbal English.
• Comfortable with data, spreadsheets, ATS systems and recruitment analytics.
• Proactive, curious and persistent approach to research.
• Ability to work independently while partnering with recruiters and hiring managers.

Responsibilities

• Map the clinical trials talent market across key countries, companies and functions.
• Identify CROs, SMOs, pharmaceutical and biotech organizations employing target talent.
• Identify equivalent/transferable positions where job titles differ.
• Spot high-potential candidates within mapped companies and talent pools.
• Conduct proactive searches using LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, ATS databases and industry sources.
• Build targeted pipelines of both active and passive candidates.
• Research candidate backgrounds, career progression and functional expertise.
• Develop creative sourcing strategies for niche roles and difficult-to-fill positions.
• Partner with recruiters on outreach and pipeline development.
• Provide recruiters and hiring managers with insights on where talent sits and market accessibility.
• Produce talent-market reports and mapping to support planning.
