Job summary

Velocity-Clinical-Research, Inc. seeks a Clinical Research Nurse to coordinate studies and deliver high-quality patient care in line with GCP, ICH-GCP, MHRA and SOPs.

The role combines advanced nursing with trial management to support safety, protocol compliance, and data integrity across the study lifecycle. You will perform protocol procedures (venipuncture, ECGs, vitals), administer IMPs, monitor adverse events, obtain informed consent, schedule visits, recruit and retain participants, and

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with active NMC registration.
• Minimum of 2 years post-registration nursing experience.
• Experience in healthcare environments with direct patient care.
• Strong knowledge of GCP and clinical trial conduct.
• Excellent communication, organisation and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and conduct clinical research studies per approved protocols and GCP/ICH-GCP.
• Provide direct nursing care to research participants across all study phases.
• Perform protocol-required procedures: venepuncture, cannulation, vitals, ECGs, specimen handling.
• Administer investigational medicinal products per protocol.
• Monitor AEs/SAEs/AESIs with timely reporting and escalation.
• Conduct informed consent discussions and support ongoing consent.
• Coordinate participant scheduling, recruitment, screening, enrollment and follow-up.
• Maintain source documentation and data entry into sponsor/EDC systems.
• Resolve data queries with sponsors and CROs to ensure data quality.
• Support start-up, amendments, and close-out activities; maintain regulatory docs.
• Collaborate with investigators, sponsors, CROs, labs and pharmacies.
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to quality improvements.
