Job summary

Velocity Clinical Research, Inc. is seeking a Clinical Research Nurse to coordinate and conduct trials while delivering high-quality participant care in line with study protocols and GCP guidelines.

The role combines advanced clinical nursing with trial management to support safety, protocol compliance, and data integrity throughout the study lifecycle. You will lead participant care, oversee study conduct, administer IMPs, and collaborate with sponsors, CROs, and study teams.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse qualification required.
• Current Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) registration.
• Minimum 2 years post‑registration nursing experience.
• Experience in healthcare with direct patient care.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and conduct clinical research studies in line with approved protocols and GCP/MHRA requirements.
• Provide direct nursing care to research participants across all study phases.
• Perform clinical procedures: venepuncture, cannulation, vitals, ECGs, sample handling.
• Administer investigational medicinal products per protocol.
• Monitor adverse events and ensure timely reporting.
• Obtain informed consent and support ongoing participant understanding.
