Job summary

Velocity Clinical Research, Inc. seeks a Clinical Research Nurse to coordinate and conduct clinical studies, delivering high-quality participant care in line with GCP, ICH-GCP, MHRA and SOPs.

The role blends advanced nursing practice with trial management to support safety, protocol compliance and data integrity throughout study lifecycles. You'll lead participant care, monitoring, informed consent discussions, and data entry while collaborating with sponsors, CROs and investigators.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with NMC registration.
• Minimum 2 years of post-registration nursing experience.
• Experience in clinical research environments preferred.
• GCP knowledge and compliance responsibilities.
• Ability to conduct informed consent discussions and support ongoing consent.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and conduct clinical research per approved protocols and GCP.
• Provide direct nursing care to participants across all study phases.
• Perform venepuncture, cannulation, vital signs, ECGs and specimen processing.
• Administer investigational products per protocol.
• Monitor AEs/SAEs/AESIs and report promptly.
• Coordinate scheduling and participant visits; support recruitment and retention.
• Maintain source documentation and complete data entry in systems.
• Assist with regulatory documents and study close-out.
