Job summary

Kintec Global Recruitment seeks a Client Representative for Cables based in Gdansk, Poland. The role oversees offshore installation activities, ensuring procedures and RAMS compliance, and supports safety and quality on-site during 12-hour shifts.

You will coordinate daily reports, participate in safety walks with client and contractor teams, and maintain accurate records across DPR and Synergi systems while upholding company values.

Qualifications

• GWO courses in core safety areas.
• HUET/STCW/OPITO/BOSIET/EBS certifications required.
• Polish medical certificate incl. Chester step.
• IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent.
• Polish occupational health & BHP certs.
• Marine awareness qualifications per package role.
• Proficient IT skills and experience with reporting systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an accurate record of installation activities daily.
• Ensure approved procedures and risk assessments are followed by contractor.
• Ensure contractor proactively manages safety and quality.
• Act according to company values and lead by example.
• Prepare and distribute Daily Progress Reports (DPR).
• Review RAMS and QHSE docs before execution.
• Attend daily meetings and safety talks.
• Be present as witness during installation.
• Participate in safety walks with HSE reps.
• Record DPRs and monitor DPR sign-offs.
• Conduct visual inspection of offshore progress.

Job description

Client Representative for Cables

Location: Gdansk, Poland

Start Date: 1st December 2026

End Date: 31 July 2027 (Potential Extension)

Work Style: 14 Days On / 14 Days Off - 12-Hour Offshore Shifts

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain an accurate record of all installation activities on a daily basis throughout the execution phase.
• Ensure that all relevant approved procedures and risk assessments are followed by the contractor.
• Ensure the Contractor proactively manages safety and quality.
• Act, behave and lead by example according to company values.

Tasks

• Prepare and distribute Daily Progress Reports (DPR) as required.
• Ensure the DPRs are signed by all required parties.
• Review and understand RA/MS and QHSE documents as required before execution phase commences and keep updated on changes in the documents.
• Attend daily meetings, toolbox talks and any other discussions to ensure that the works are being carried out in a safe manner to the required quality.
• During all defined key activities and otherwise as often as practicable, be present as a witness during installation. Access all work areas provided it is safe to do so.
• Participate in safety walks with HSE representatives from both client and contractor organisations.
• Synergi reporting as supervised by the specific package and project from incidents and from safety walks.

Deliverables

• Daily recording of activities relating to load-out, transit, positioning and installation.
• Preparation of Daily Progress Reports (DPR).

The Client Representative will conduct visual inspection of the offshore work in progress and monitor that it is carried out as per approved RAMS. The Client Representative has no contractual authority, except for the authority to intervene or stop the operation in case of safety, quality infringements or the procedures not being followed by the contractor.

Qualifications / Requirements

• GWO courses: Sea Survival, Working at Heights, First Aid, Fire Awareness, Manual Handling.
• HUET, STCW 2010, OPITO or BOSIET and EBS (STASS, HEED or EBS).
• Polish Medical certificate including Chester step.
• IOSH Managing Safely or similar HSE training.
• Polish occupational health certification & BHP certification.
• Marine awareness qualifications as required by the package role.
• IT proficient (Microsoft Word, Excel and Internet); experience with DPR and Synergi reporting systems.

Additional Information

• Rotation pattern to be confirmed per each vessel.
• Expenses covered by the project: travel and accommodation for mobilisation/demobilisation.
