Job summary

Akamai Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Security Architect to support the EMEA market, with a focus on Italy. You will work directly with customers to resolve critical security challenges, collaborating with a 25-person Italian team and broader EMEA colleagues.

The role emphasizes consultative, client-facing responsibilities, design and deployment of security configurations, and ongoing customer success in a fast-paced setting. English fluency is required; Italian is a plus.

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of cybersecurity concepts, network security and CDN principles.
• Strong communication skills to articulate complex technical topics.
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a dynamic customer environment.
• Fluency in English; Italian is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer consultation by participating in calls with a Security Consultant to identify challenges and recommend customized solutions using Akamai's portfolio.
• Prepare security assessments of existing customer setups and suggest actionable improvements to enhance overall security measures.
• Design, deploy, and verify security configurations; clarify testing processes on the Akamai staging network for customers as required.
• Provide daily assistance to long-term customers, ensuring their setup stays optimized and aligned with current security best practices.
