Job summary

Akamai Technologies GmbH is seeking an Enterprise Architect to lead AI security transformation, delivering technical advisory, architecture design, and implementation guidance for complex AI and multi-cloud environments.

You will engage with decision-makers, define AI security standards, and help customers securely adopt AI at scale. Strong English, 8+ years in security, and hands-on LLM experience are essential.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in security architecture, security consulting or security systems engineering, with direct customer delivery.
• In-depth knowledge of at least one area: application/API security, workload security, microsegmentation, IAM, and multi-stack integration.
• Hands-on experience building with LLM and agent systems: tool design, agent-to-tool protocols (MCP), retrieval and evaluation.
• Knowledge of AI-specific risks: prompt injection, tool abuse, identity sprawl, data exfiltration, model supply chain risks.
• Excellent written English and ability to produce clear reference architectures for CISO audiences.

Responsibilities

• Defining and evolving AI security architectures and standards covering agents, workloads, identities, runtime protection, and east-west containment.
• Assessing customer AI environments against security, regulatory, and risk requirements with clear coverage levels.
• Delivering security-focused consulting, architecture, and implementation guidance for complex AI and multi-cloud environments.
• Designing and evaluating frontier AI use cases, measuring quality, cost, and outcomes.
• Advising Global Services, Sales, Presales, and customers on AI security strategy and emerging technologies.
