Job summary

Aldwych Consulting is seeking a Civil Design Engineer with 2+ years of experience to join our London team. You will design highways and drainage for large residential and mixed-use developments, producing detailed designs and drawings.

You will collaborate with developers, architects and planners, support planning and approvals, and progress your own projects in a supportive, employee-owned environment with hybrid working and a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience within civil engineering consultancy.
• Experience in highways and drainage design.
• Experience on development-led infrastructure projects.
• Good knowledge of UK design standards and approval processes.
• Proactive with good communication and career development.

Responsibilities

• Design highways, roads and drainage infrastructure for large residential and mixed-use developments.
• Produce detailed design information and technical drawings for development schemes.
• Work alongside developers, architects, planners and wider multidisciplinary design teams.
• Support projects through the planning and technical approval process and into detailed design and delivery.
• Take increasing responsibility for your own projects as your experience develops.
• Work closely with experienced engineers in a supportive team environment.
