Job summary

Aptiv is seeking a Change Manager to own the CR process across automotive programs. You will coordinate intake, analysis, and implementation, chair Change Control Boards, and ensure traceability and cost recovery while delivering with minimal disruption.

Responsibilities include governance, reporting, and cross-functional alignment with Systems/Software/Hardware, Quality and SCM. Strong facilitation and stakeholder skills are essential, with a background in engineering or project/change

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, project/change management, or related.
• 2+ years in engineering change or project management in agile environments.
• Proven experience working with cross-functional engineering teams and delivering to schedule-driven milestones.
• Tooling: Jira (issues/workflows), Confluence; strong Excel; ability to prepare clear, executive-ready reports.
• English at C1 fluency; strong written/verbal communication; stakeholder management.
• Preferred: Automotive domain experience; ASPICE SUP.10 hands-on; familiarity with ISO 26262.

Job description

As a Change Manager, you will own the change request (CR) process across complex, multi-disciplinary automotive programs. You’ll coordinate review, analysis and implementation of internal and customer-driven changes, chair/prepare Change Control Boards (CCB), and ensure changes are traceable, costed, planned and delivered with minimal disruption. Your Role Run the CR lifecycle end-to-end: intake, triage, impact analysis (scope, schedule, cost, risk), decision, implementation tracking, closure, and lessons learned. Governance: prepare and facilitate weekly CCB/CRB with clear decision records; maintain change baselines and audit trails per ASPICE SUP.10. Analysis & reporting: produce executive-ready dashboards on CR volume, lead time, on-time implementation, and cost recovery; elevate risk early. Financial control: quantify cost/schedule impact; collaborate with Finance/PM to negotiate cost recovery for customer-driven changes. Cross-functional coordination: align Systems/Software/Hardware, Quality and SCM on implementation plans (BOM/requirements/configuration impacts); influence outcomes across teams without direct line authority. Continuous improvement: streamline templates, workflows, and tooling to reduce CR lead time and increase right-first-time decisions. Your background Influencing without authority & stakeholder leadership: proven ability to secure commitments and drive delivery across diverse stakeholders (engineering, quality, finance, SCM, suppliers, OEMs) without direct managerial control; strong facilitation (CCB/CRB), conflict resolution, and structured communication skills (from engineers to executives). Bachelor’s degree in engineering, project/change management, or related. 2+ years in engineering change or project management in agile environments (automotive or other complex products). Proven experience working with cross-functional engineering teams and delivering to schedule-driven milestones. Tooling: Jira (issues/workflows), Confluence; strong Excel; ability to prepare clear, executive-ready reports. English C1 fluency; strong written/verbal communication; stakeholder management. Analytical mindset; able to structure ambiguous inputs and drive decisions. Preferred (nice to have): Automotive domain experience; ASPICE SUP.10 hands-on; familiarity with ISO 26262. Dashboards in Power BI/Qlik Sense; basic SQL. Jira advanced configuration: dashboards, structure views, custom reports. Scripting for automation (Python or equivalent) to streamline data flows and reporting.
