Job summary

Hitachi Energy is seeking an R&D Computational Fluid Dynamics Associate Engineer in Łódź, Poland. You will join the GLOMUS network and be responsible for creating and improving analytical tools and CFD automations for electrical machines. Ideal candidates will have a PhD or MSc in Mechanical Engineering or a related field and extensive hands-on experience in CFD.

You will contribute to innovative projects, collaborating with international teams, and ensuring technical solutions for advanced transformers.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience in CFD and thermo-mechanical simulations applied to transformers.
• Advanced proficiency in numerical methods for thermodynamic and heat transfer simulations.
• Ability to customize models for internal oil flows, cooling ducts, and heat exchangers.

Responsibilities

• Create and improve analytical tools and CFD automations for thermo-fluid dynamic analysis.
• Propose technical solutions for transformers and reactors.
• Design and conduct experimental campaigns to validate technical solutions.
