Danfoss is hiring a Category Manager in Tuchom, Poland. You will lead supplier negotiations, drive cost optimization and build strong supplier relationships across cross-functional teams in a growing, global context.

You will manage RFQs, analyze market opportunities, and support procurement strategies while operating in a hybrid setup with exposure to an international environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in managing procurement processes and conducting negotiations with suppliers.
• Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain long-term commercial relationships.
• Strong analytical thinking and the ability to use data to support sound procurement decisions.
• A high level of independence, ownership and proactivity, with the confidence to make decisions and drive actions forward.
• Fluent English, enabling effective communication and collaboration in an international environment.

As a

The Impact You'll Make

As a Category Manager, you’ll have a real impact on cost efficiency and supply chain resilience by shaping Danfoss’ relationships with key suppliers of components and services. Your decisions and negotiations will help strengthen the competitiveness of our products and support the smooth operation of our business.

You’ll take ownership of developing supplier relationships, identifying new sourcing opportunities and driving cost optimization, while working closely with internal teams on new projects.

You’re joining Danfoss at an exciting time of growth in Tuchom. We have recently completed a new 22,500 m² manufacturing facility, expanding our production capabilities and supporting the supply of products to different markets. This means new projects, increased scale and new opportunities — including within Procurement.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Lead price and commercial negotiations with suppliers, securing the best possible solutions for Danfoss.
• Analyze the supplier market, identify new sourcing opportunities, and develop relationships with new and existing suppliers.
• Prepare and manage RFQs, analyze received offers, and support the selection of the most competitive solutions.
• Identify and manage supplier-related risks, taking action to protect business continuity and achieve procurement objectives.
• Drive cost optimization across purchased components and services and actively contribute to new projects, working closely with cross-functional teams.
