Job summary

Brenntag in Łódź, Poland, is seeking an Analyst Cash Application to strengthen our financial processes. You will review and reconcile payments daily, prepare AR reconciliations for customers and internal requests, and collaborate with the collections team to resolve discrepancies.

This role operates in a transition environment with a hybrid work model (3 days in the office). You will lead with analytical thinking, ERP and MS Office proficiency, and English language skills, plus French (Level B)

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of relevant professional experience.
• Experience in Cash Application and Accounts Receivable.
• Experience in a shared services environment.
• Advanced knowledge of ERP systems and MS Office.
• Hands-on Cash Application experience.
• Strong leadership, organizational and analytical skills.
• Experience in transition or migration projects is a strong asset.
• Accounting experience is an advantage.
• Good English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Review and reconcile all payments received on a current and daily basis.
• Prepare detailed, accurate accounts receivable reconciliations for customer and internal requests.
• Identify and communicate discrepancies in payments with the collections team.
• Manage a portfolio of receivable accounts and keep aged balances within targets.
• Prepare scheduled and ad hoc financial analysis reports.
• Adhere to service levels and company policies; escalate issues to supervisor as needed.
• Resolve operational issues and escalate to supervisor when necessary.
