Job summary

Brenntag, a leading global chemical distributor, seeks an Analyst Cash Application in Łódź, Poland. The role focuses on daily payment reconciliation, AR analysis, and collaboration with collections to address discrepancies.

You will work in a hybrid setting with emphasis on accuracy, process improvement, and adherence to service levels. The ideal candidate has 2+ years in cash application or AR within a shared services environment, strong ERP/MS Office skills, and English proficiency; French

Qualifications

• Education degree in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant professional experience.
• Experience in Cash Application, Accounts Receivable.
• Experience in a shared services environment.
• Advanced knowledge of ERP systems and MS Office tools.
• Hands-on Cash Application experience is mandatory.
• Strong leadership, organizational and analytical skills.
• Experience in transition or migration projects is a strong asset.
• English verbal and written communication; French speaking (Level B) is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Review and reconcile all payments received on a current and daily basis.
• Prepare detailed, accurate and organized accounts receivable reconciliations for customer and internal requests.
• Identify and communicate discrepancies in payments with collections team.
• Manage a portfolio of receivables and monitor aged balances against targets.
• Prepare scheduled and ad hoc financial analysis reports.
• Adhere to service levels and company policies; escalate issues to supervisor as needed.
