Job summary

Ericsson in Łódź, Poland is seeking developers with a passion for C++ to join the Radio Software Development team. The role focuses on designing, developing, and optimizing radio software applications using C++ with Java-based test frameworks within agile practices.

Hybrid work arrangement: 3 days in-office per week. You will collaborate across functions on end-to-end embedded development for Radio Units, contributing to 5G evolution and future 6G technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Wireless Communication, or a related technical field.
• 2+ years of experience with object-oriented C++ programming.
• Good understanding of Linux-based development environments.
• Familiarity with essential software development tools including version control systems, build systems, and scripting languages.
• Familiarity with 4G/5G wireless communications, especially 3GPP specifications.
• Basic knowledge of CI/CD processes.
• Awareness of agile software development methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban.
• Experience in testing would be an advantage.

About this opportunity:

We are looking for developers with a passion and interest in C++ to join our Radio Software Development team, contributing to the evolution of 5G and pioneering innovation towards 6G.

Location Łódź, Poland (Hybrid – 3 days/week in-office)

Upon joining you will become part of a multi-functional team responsible for tasks ranging from initial studies to customer acceptance testing of new radio functionality.

Your role will involve designing, developing, and optimizing software solutions, particularly focusing on radio software applications using C++ and Java-based test frameworks within agile development practices.
