SQUAD Ukraine Limited in Poland is seeking a C++ Software Engineer with a strong Linux background to join our new R&D product team. You will design, build, and maintain high-performance software for Linux-based IoT devices, shaping architecture alongside hardware and QA engineers.

You will own features from design through deployment, write unit tests, and contribute to code reviews and documentation. This role offers remote work within Poland and opportunities for growth alongside a

Qualifications

• 4+ years of commercial software development experience in C++ (modern standards, OOP, multithreading)
• Solid practical experience with Linux development and debugging tools
• Experience with build systems, version control, and CI/CD tools (CMake, Git)
• Hands-on experience writing unit tests and performing code optimization
• Practical problem-solving skills and the ability to work with complex technical requirements
• At least an Intermediate level in both written and spoken English (B1)

Responsibilities

• Design and implement new software features in C++ for Linux-based devices.
• Own features through the full cycle: from initial design and coding to debugging and deployment.
• Write clean, maintainable code, unit tests, and technical documentation.
• Debug and profile system issues, fixing performance bottlenecks and stability bugs.
• Collaborate daily with hardware, firmware, QA, and project management teams.
• Participate in code reviews and team planning sessions.
