Job summary

Sii Poland is seeking a C++ Embedded Developer to join an international team working on heating systems, heat pumps and Smart Home IoT solutions.

You will develop embedded software in C++ (Embedded Linux), extend software architecture with architects and cross‑functional teams, and ensure code quality with unit tests. The role follows Agile practices with a hybrid work model and requires presence in the Katowice office 6 days per month.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of C++ (object-oriented programming)
• 4+ years in Embedded Linux software development
• Experience with embedded systems
• Familiarity with SOME/IP or related protocols
• Experience with unit testing frameworks (Google Test)
• Experience in Agile environments
• Good command of English or German
• On-site presence in Poland with fluent Polish

Responsibilities

• Development and maintenance of embedded software in C++ (Embedded Linux) for heating control systems
• Developing and extending software architecture with architects and other teams
• Integrating system components using SOME/IP communication
• Creating unit tests (Google Test) and ensuring code quality
• Supporting system tests using Robot Framework and Python
• Working in Agile teams and participating in sprint planning
• Collaborating with international engineering teams
