Astek Polska sp. z o.o. is seeking a C# Desktop Applications Engineer for a telecommunications client in Kraków.

You will join a 6-7 person team, work in Agile two-week sprints, and contribute to architecture and feature development. You’ll develop and maintain desktop products, collaborating with colleagues and engaging in knowledge sharing. The role requires C# and .NET expertise, Git experience, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Hold at least a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Solid understanding of software engineering principles and best practices.
• Proficient in C# and .NET; familiar with Git version control.

Responsibilities

• Work in a 6-7 person team following Agile methodologies with two-week sprints and Jira for project management.
• Contribute to architecture design and technical decisions for new features.
• Develop and maintain products locally managed by the team from requirements to release.
• Hands-on work with real MOTOTRBO radios used by customers.
• Share knowledge and potentially mentor other team members.

Position

We are currently looking for a candidate for the position of C# Desktop Applications Engineer (he/she) for our client from the telecommunications industry.

Offered salary

Salary: to 1160 PLN net/day, depending on experience and competences.

You’re ideal for this role if you:

• Hold at least a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Have a solid understanding of software engineering principles and best practices.
• Have programming experience in C# and .NET.
• Are familiar with Git version control.
• Have strong problem-solving skills and the ability to propose effective solutions.
• Communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.

Your day-to-day responsibilities include:

• Working in a team of 6-7 people following Agile methodologies, with two-week sprints and Jira for project management.
• Collaborating with a goal-oriented team that embraces a strong can-do attitude.
• Contributing to architecture design and technical decisions for new features.
• Developing and maintaining products locally managed by the team, from requirements definition through to release.
• Working hands-on with real MOTOTRBO radios used by our customers.
• Sharing knowledge and potentially taking on a technical mentoring role to support other team members.
• Contributing to a collaborative environment that values teamwork and continuous knowledge sharing.
