Job summary

Kempuri is seeking a Business-System Analyst to join a project developing and enhancing business applications that support core processes. You will gather and translate business needs into functional and technical requirements, collaborating with stakeholders, developers, and QA to deliver scalable, user-friendly solutions.

You will assist in creating process flows, use cases, and acceptance criteria, while ensuring alignment with business objectives and system capabilities.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst, System Analyst, or Business-System Analyst.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in gathering, analyzing, and documenting business and system requirements.
• Understanding of business processes and SDLC.
• Ability to translate business needs into clear and structured functional requirements.
• Experience working with technical teams including developers and QA engineers.
• Knowledge of modeling techniques such as BPMN, UML, or process flow diagrams.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum or Kanban).
• Experience with Jira or Confluence for requirements management and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business processes and identify needs for improvement.
• Gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements.
• Translate requirements into functional specifications and technical documentation.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, Product Owners, developers, testers, and project team members.
• Prepare process flows, use cases, user stories, acceptance criteria, and system diagrams.
• Support development by clarifying requirements and resolving ambiguities.
• Analyze existing systems and assess impact of changes.
• Participate in workshops and requirement-gathering sessions.
• Support testing activities and review scenarios.
• Ensure alignment between business objectives, system capabilities, and technical solutions.
• Maintain project documentation and ensure clarity and currency of requirements.
