Commerzbank AG in Łódź is seeking a Business Expert - Data Management to help build and optimize our platform for KYC, AML, and sanctions data flows. You will collaborate with stakeholders to provide data for transaction monitoring and customer screening.

The role focuses on data modelling, SQL programming, data quality checks, and integration with multiple source systems, with a hybrid work setup at Ogrodowa 8. English B2+ is expected.

Qualifications

• Strong SQL skills for data modelling and data delivery.
• Experience in business analysis and requirements shaping.
• Willingness to learn compliance processes and GCP.
• Familiarity with Agile / Scrum methodologies and English level B2+.

Responsibilities

• Support stakeholders by providing data for transaction monitoring and customer screening.
• Develop and optimize data models receiving data from multiple source systems.
• Analyze data requirements with stakeholders and implement them.
• Design, implement, test, and document data solutions including production releases.
• Implement data quality checks in line with data governance policies.
• Collaborate with developers to identify best-fit data delivery solutions.

Join our team as a Business Expert - Data Maangement (m/ f/d)

Description of the cluster:

The Global Financial Crime Prevention Platform cluster:

• develops a global and holistic IT platform for fraud prevention and detection,
• aimed at delivering top-notch compliance solutions to safeguard against financial crime.

As part of the Key Area Compliance we are responsible for providing an IT platform to support risk coverage and processes with regard to know-your-customer (KYC), anti-money laundering and sanctions. We understand ourselves to be a unit closely dovetailed with the standard setters from the headquarters Compliance functions with the aim of further developing and operating the Compliance IT platform. Thus, we deliver state-of-the-art solutions in close cooperation with the standard setters.

What you will be doing:

• You support the stakeholders in all activities to provide all necessary data for transaction monitoring and customer screening.
• You are responsible for development and optimization of our data model which receives data from different source systems and distributes them for monitoring and reporting purposes to several target systems.
• You analyze the data requirements in close collaboration with our stakeholders and ensure that their requirements are implemented.
• You are responsible for solution design, conception, technical implementation (data modelling / programming with SQL), testing and documentation including production release.
• You are implementing data quality checks to ensure data integrity following the data governance policies.
• You are in close collaboration with the developers to identify and implement the Best-Fit-Solution for data delivery
