Job summary

DCG in Warszawa is seeking a Business Data Analyst to bridge business needs with developers and ensure the delivery of high-quality IT solutions. You will contribute to building data product capabilities and analytics within the organization, collaborating with stakeholders across the company to define features.

You will work in an Agile cross-functional delivery team, driving data-driven outcomes and quality improvements across data products and pipelines.

Qualifications

• SQL knowledge and ability to handle complex requirements.
• Experience in data analysis, data hygiene and data quality.
• Familiarity with Hive.
• Basic understanding of machine learning, CI/CD pipelines, and big data concepts.
• Owns tasks and user stories independently.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving.
• Experience with Spark.

Business Data Analyst

Responsibilities:

• Act as a bridge between business needs and developers to ensure the delivery of high quality IT solutions
• Being part of building common capabilities for Data Products within GDM
• Working with data products Helping to design advanced solutions around data and analytics Working closely together with stakeholders across company to understand the expected outcome and elicit business features
• Managing delivery dependencies towards other teams and organization units across Company
• Working in an Agile environment as an integral part of the cross-functional agile delivery team

Requirements:

• Knowledge of SQL
• Experience working with complex requirements
• Experience in data analysis, data hygiene, and data quality
• Familiarity with Hive
• Basic understanding of machine learning, CI/CD pipelines, and big data concepts
• Ownership and independence in handling tasks, features, and user stories
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Experience with Spark

• Banking knowledge and experience is an asset
