Job summary

DCG is seeking a Business Data Analyst to bridge business needs with IT delivery. You will work on data products, analytics, and data quality initiatives, collaborating with stakeholders to define features and outcomes.

In an Agile environment, you will support cross-functional teams, manage dependencies, and help build capabilities for data products across the organization. Experience with Hive and Spark is a plus.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of SQL and data analysis; ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
• Experience with data hygiene, quality, and analytics projects.
• Familiarity with Hive and big data concepts; basic ML/CI/CD understanding.
• Ownership and independence in handling tasks and user stories.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem solving; able to work with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Act as a bridge between business needs and developers to ensure delivery of IT solutions.
• Contribute to data product capabilities within GDM and data analytics initiatives.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit features and outcomes for data projects.

Business Data Analyst

Responsibilities:

• Act as a bridge between business needs and developers to ensure the delivery of high quality IT solutions
• Being part of building common capabilities for Data Products within GDM
• Working with data products Helping to design advanced solutions around data and analytics Working closely together with stakeholders across company to understand the expected outcome and elicit business features
• Managing delivery dependencies towards other teams and organization units across Company
• Working in an Agile environment as an integral part of the cross-functional agile delivery team

Requirements:

• Knowledge of SQL
• Experience working with complex requirements
• Experience in data analysis, data hygiene, and data quality
• Familiarity with Hive
• Basic understanding of machine learning, CI/CD pipelines, and big data concepts
• Ownership and independence in handling tasks, features, and user stories
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Experience with Spark

• Banking knowledge and experience is an asset
