Job summary

Jit is seeking an experienced Business Analyst – Fraud Prevention to support fraud detection and prevention within insurance claims and benefits processes. You will collaborate with business stakeholders, operational teams, fraud prevention experts, data analysts, and IT to translate needs into robust system solutions.

This role requires strong analysis, requirements gathering, and documentation, plus hands-on experience in fraud analytics, risk management, and agile delivery.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, System Analyst, or in a similar role.
  • 3+ years of experience in fraud prevention, fraud analytics, risk management, or financial crime.
  • Experience within the insurance sector, particularly in claims and benefits processes.
  • Strong background in requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation.
  • Experience facilitating workshops and collaborating with business and technical stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of business process modeling (AS-IS / TO-BE).
  • Experience creating User Stories, Epics, Acceptance Criteria, and functional specifications.
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
  • Understanding of fraud detection, investigation, and case management processes.
  • Ability to define business rules and fraud detection scenarios.
  • Working knowledge of SQL.
  • Experience with UAT and business testing.

  • Build and enhance anti-fraud capabilities to detect suspicious patterns and mitigate risks.

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst – Fraud Prevention to support the development of solutions dedicated to fraud detection and prevention within claims and benefits processes.

In this role, you will work closely with business stakeholders, operational teams, fraud prevention experts, data analysts, and IT teams to identify business needs and translate them into effective system solutions. You will play a key role in building and enhancing anti-fraud capabilities, helping the organization identify suspicious patterns, mitigate risks, and improve operational efficiency.

This position is ideal for a professional with a strong background in business analysis, fraud management, and insurance claims processes.

Expected competences and knowledge

5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, System Analyst, or in a similar role

3+ years of experience in fraud prevention, fraud analytics, risk management, or financial crime

Experience within the insurance sector, particularly in claims and benefits processes

Strong background in requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation

Experience facilitating workshops and collaborating with business and technical stakeholders

Knowledge of business process modeling (AS-IS / TO-BE)

Experience creating User Stories, Epics, Acceptance Criteria, and functional specifications

Knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban)

Understanding of fraud detection, investigation, and case management processes

Ability to define business rules and fraud detection scenarios

Working knowledge of SQL

Experience with UAT and business testing

Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills

Nice to have:

Experience implementing or enhancing fraud management solutions

Knowledge of platforms such as SAS Fraud Management, FICO Falcon, Actimize, Guidewire, or similar

Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or other reporting tools

Understanding of Machine Learning concepts in fraud detection

Knowledge of AML processes and risk scoring methodologies

Experience working in large insurance or financial services organizations
