Job summary

CrustLab in Kraków is seeking a seasoned backend engineer to join our team building scalable services for iGaming, fintech and blockchain solutions. You will work primarily in Node.js with TypeScript, design REST and gRPC APIs, manage data across relational and NoSQL stores, and participate in cloud deployments on AWS/Azure/GCP.

You will own features end-to-end, contribute to DevOps tasks, help shape architecture with hexagonal and modular patterns, and collaborate in an Agile Scrum environment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on experience in a Node.js environment.
• Proficiency in TypeScript and strongly typed languages.
• Practical experience with both relational and non-relational databases (e.g., MongoDB).
• Experience implementing REST and gRPC APIs, WebSockets, and message queues.

Responsibilities

• Own full lifecycle development of backend services.
• Feature development based on user stories and tasks.
• Support the DevOps team in configuring and maintaining environments.
• Participate in developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for modules.
