Ciklum is seeking a senior backend engineer to join Trustpilot project with fully remote work options. You will integrate into a cross-functional squad, owning backend services and crafting scalable fraud-detection features using TypeScript on AWS.

You will collaborate with top engineers, contribute to end-to-end delivery, and benefit from Udemy access, certifications, and company-paid medical coverage. Poland-based candidates are welcome.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience, backend focus.
• Hands-on AWS experience with serverless and microservices.
• Strong sense of ownership and ability to drive features end-to-end.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Product, Design, Data Science, and backend engineers in a cross-functional squad.
• Design and implement high-volume, scalable data processing for fraud detection using TypeScript.
• Grow autonomy by delivering end-to-end features with minimal supervision.
• Build secure, distributed cloud services in an event-driven microservices architecture.
• Participate in architecture discussions, deployment, monitoring, and production maintenance.
• Contribute to code reviews and implement architectural feedback.
