Job summary

Cognizant Poland is seeking a Backend Engineer to join a remote, long-term B2B engagement. You will design, develop, and maintain backend services using Node.js and TypeScript, building scalable APIs for a large-scale digital platform.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to secure, resilient systems while supporting CI/CD and platform improvements. Fluency in English is required, and the role is Poland-based.

Qualifications

• Multiple years of backend software engineering experience.
• Strong hands-on with Node.js and TypeScript.
• Experience designing RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, preferably GCP.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps.
• Experience with databases and external services integration.
• Excellent English communication; located in Poland.
• Remote, long-term B2B contract.
