Job summary

Cognizant Poland is seeking an experienced Backend Engineer to join a remote, long-term engagement. You will design, develop and maintain backend services using Node.js and TypeScript, build APIs, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

This role, a B2B contract starting in December 2026, offers a rate of 120–160 PLN per hour and focuses on scalable, secure solutions with CI/CD processes in a retail-focused platform.

Qualifications

• Several years of experience in backend software engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with Node.js and TypeScript.
• Experience designing and building RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Good understanding of software design principles and distributed systems.
• Experience working with cloud platforms, preferably GCP.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices.
• Experience working with databases and integrating external services.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.
• Excellent English communication skills.
• You are located in Poland.
