Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience with backend focus.
• Hands-on AWS experience: API Gateway, Lambda, ECS, SQS, SNS, DynamoDB.
• Experience with event-driven microservices and Serverless Framework.
• Proficiency with DynamoDB and PostgreSQL databases.
• CI/CD with GitHub Actions; Docker and orchestration (ECS/Kubernetes).
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools (Claude Code preferred).
• Ability to own stories from inception to production with minimal supervision.
• Strong collaboration and willingness to pair with senior team members.

Responsibilities

• Collaborative development in a cross-functional squad end-to-end ownership.
• Design backend services and deliver high-volume, scalable data processing for fraud detection using TypeScript.
• Grow autonomy by taking on complex backend tasks and delivering end-to-end features.
• Build secure, distributed cloud services in an event-driven microservices architecture with a focus on quality and performance.
• Participate in the full development lifecycle including deployment and monitoring.
• Engage in code reviews and apply architectural feedback to improve code health.
